The Edible Art of Star Wars
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. You may not like how it tastes, but Japan has THE coolest looking food ever. Sorry, Subway, but these guys are the true food artists.
Anyways, I just saw these unbelievable Star Wars themed bento boxes over at The Great White Snark. I can barely make a smiley face out of ketchup on my hamburger and the way-too-talented-for-her-own-good vingt_deux over at Flickr goes and makes a crazy-ass Stormtrooper out of monterye jack cheese and nori sheets with a hard boiled egg death star, as well as a Jawa made out of peppers and tofurkey (!?).
These were the only two I could find (although there’s plenty of other gorgeous bento boxes on her flickr page), but I’m hoping she’ll keep it up. Heck, maybe she’ll delve into other themes like Star Trek, Lord of the Rings or even cartoons like He-Man! Mmm, pickled radish Skeletor sounds divine…
Yes, geek chefs do indeed rule.
