Tangy Cucumber Sandwiches

I love the UK. Despite having some fairly boring television shows (and yes, a few amazing ones like the new Doctor Who, not the boring-ass old ones), they do have the best commercials around. Japan doesn’t count because everything they do over there is just so insane it’s entertaining. But the UK are wry, witty, subtle and, well, pretty damn funny. Like this fairly straightforward commercial for… well, that would be telling.

You do need to have your sound up to hear the dialog which is all safe for work. (Well, all the talky parts are safe; there’s just one word shown that may seem slightly NSFW if you work in a super anal stuffy place. And if you do, my condolences.)

Ewwwwwwwwwwww, gross. I feel ill. :(

Mimzie - Awesome. Based on the topics you post about, I figured you’d enjoy this one.

Rose - Really? Wow. I can’t believe I finally (after only a few days) found something to gross you out. Woo!

I’m at work so i can’t watch this. SADFACE. But i will agree w/ you that 1. Doctor Who is awesome and i cannot wait untill the new seasons even tho i’m iffy about the new companion. and 2. UK telly commercials are far superior to us mainstream. so aweeesome.

i want to be grossed out. stupid work filters!

I would love to see her eat the rest of the sandwich while trying to act like it’s all perfectly normal.

I’m torn between EWWWWWWWWWWWWW and BWAHAHHAHAHAH.

Christine - That’s why work is evil and why I stopped working for The Man long ago: no more web filters.

Fiar - Yeah I’d totally watch a full TV series based on that commercial to see where it goes next.

Lis - I lean towards the Bwahahahahha. But then again, I’m a guy.

Were you trying to gross me out? lol
