Double Feature of Duds
I just saw two trailers for films I was looking forward to. Only after seeing them, I’m not. So I thought I’d share them with you lucky readers.
First up is the new version of the Incredible Hulk. I hated the last one by Ang Lee. The Hulk looked so lame and the story was 95% psychodrama. Seriously, I was the only one still awake at the end of the film when I watched it with a few people!
But the new version stars Edward Norton, has a cool plot, lots more action, and a cool bad guy in the Abomination (basically an evil version of the Hulk). But my problem with it is a similar one from the last one: The CGI. Hulk just looks a little too fake, and the Abomination looks really lame. Maybe I’m too harsh a critic, but you tell me.

I’m like Jason above and going to just pretend LB2 is not happening. I’m so friggin’ depressed that they are blowing the chance to do something really cool with a sequel for what is one of my top 10 favorite movies of all time. And it would have been better had they put both Corey’s in it. I love the old song they use on this trailer though. My first cassette tape of this soundtrack was stolen by a stupid moron I dated. I still listen to this soundtrack once a week. Classic, and brings out the vampire in me.
Remember that big beefy guy that did one of the songs? HAHAHAHAH! Gotta dig that up for my blog.
Jason - I wish I could pretend the first Hulk movie never happened. Along with about 500 other horrible films out there. And it should be fairly easy pretending LB2 never happened…
Paula - I’m with ya, buddy. The original Lost Boys is one of my favorites too and they could’ve done sooo much more with it as a sequel. Heck, I’m surprised they didn’t just try for a cheesy TV show on the Sci-Fi channel instead.
Well, you already know how I felt about the Eric Bana Hulk movie (it was crap). I love LOVE love Edward Norton (and Liv Tyler!) so I’m really hoping this Hulk flick isn’t going to suck.
I’m just going to pretend Lost Boys 2 never happened.

I saw that Hulk trailer this morning. Why are we remaking movies so fast? Maybe we’re just supposed to pretend that the first one never happened. Just like I’m pretending the Lost Boys 2 never happened.
