I Want Pac-Man Fever!
Okay, I figure I should make it up to you guys after yesterdays vomit-inducing post. So here are a few amazing cupcakes made by the insanely talented folks at Clever Cupcakes. These were all made to order from this company located in Montreal, Canada. They even offer Free Shipping. Wonder if that’d extend just a little bit down to the NY area…
I know Pac-Man arcade machines ate plenty of my quarters back in the day. So I say it’s payback time! How awesome is that logo by the way?

And of course, what would a post be without some Mario characters?

There’s tons more really creative cupcakes on their flickr gallery, though I didn’t see any more video game related ones. I’m sure after all the linkage these guys get from the geek sites out there, they’ll start cranking out some more. Like where’s my Pitfall Harry one? Or Donkey Kong?!?

I always sucked at video games. Now I can suck ON them. Nom Nom Nom… take that Pac Man you yellow git… Nom Nom Nom… How are you going to save your princess with out a head Mario… mwa ha ha ha ha ha
Paula - Well, you’re a lot closer to Canada then I am. So take a trip to Montreal and get your sons some. You DO want to be the “cool mom” don’t you?
Tish - Don’t they? I have no clue how they actually TASTE but they do look amazing.
Damien - Hi there! Glad you liked ‘em. Cupcakes truly do bring people together don’t they?
Rose - Yeah they do ship. I may have to order me up some extra geeky special ones. I just did some digging and found the pink cakes on your blog. Awesome stuff!
Even-Star - Hah. Hopefully you don’t suck at eating cupcakes too. ![]()
Mmm! I love the Goomba one! nom nom nom.
On a serious note tho.. I dont know how they would taste.. they look kinda plastic. I wonder if they do cakes.. and if they’re willing to ship to BC! Rawrwwwrwrwrwrwrwrrwww.
I love these! They remind me of the Pac-Man cookies the room mothers would make for us in elementary school. Only these are much cooler, obviously.
The Pac-Man cupcakes almost remind me of those cool Oreo Cookie sandwiches that, I believe, are now in the retro vault with Pac-Man.
Also? In Orlando, they did have a Pac-Man cafe. I went there in 2005, I believe. No idea if it’s still there, but it was all Pac, all the time. *sigh*
Hi Andrew,
I just read your peanut butter post comment on Coffee Break and I left you a message over there. I had an idea that may help your four year old. A medical I.D. bracelet will make people take the allergy seriously. You can have them engraved with whatever you want, parents use them for kids with allergies, autism, anything you want people to know. That way at school, summer camp or whatever, people are reminded to be careful. Anyway, just an idea.
Hope you’re having a nice weekend:)
Deb - Howdy! Most excellent excellent advice. But I try not to eat by my laptop. My desktop on the other hand… And yeah, fondant is like edible Krazy Glue, right?
Lis - Tell us what you really want? Don’t beat around the bush.
Christine - As Deb pointed out, they’re decorated with fondant. Which is far from as tasty as frosting. It’s kind of like the “fake” frosting on top of Hostess cupcakes I guess.
Kelly - Um, like, um, what?!?!? A Pac-Man cafe?!?!? You can’t drop a comment like that and not give details! Spill, woman!
Poojitha - Not sure why you’re laughing, but I’ll take it as a compliment. Thanks.
Christy - Thanks. I just replied over on your nifty blog yourself. Hope you’re having a spiffy weekend too.

OH WOW!!! I want the Mario ones for my sons so bad! Cool!!!
