Cat People Scare Me
Despite my wonderful allergies, I do love pets. I’m most definitely a dog person more than a cat person, though. Dogs may be dumber, but they’re 500 times more loyal. Cats? Well, I don’t trust ‘em. They’re like ninjas that could sneak into your bedroom at night, curl up right on your chest as you’re sleeping and one false move, and they’ll scratch your throat out.
Dogs will also pretty much let you do what you want with ‘em. Slap a bandana around their neck. Put ‘em on a treadmill next to yours. Heck, dress them up in completely ridiculous costumes and clothes. You’ll find it way harder to pull off any o’ that with a cat. At least, that’s what I thought. Until I found KittyWigs.com. Uh, yeah. It’s wigs. For cats. And it’s as ridiculous as it sounds.
It’s hard to tell if this site is serious or not, though, when you see pictures like this:
But they do mention they donate 20% of profits to the ASPCA, so I give them full props for that. ‘Cause as much as I don’t trust felines, I just can’t abide any sort of cruelty. They may deserve to be dressed up like Lindsay Lohan, but they don’t deserve to be abused.

I am permitted to co-habitate with two very proud cats and they would urinate on everything I hold dear if I ever subjected them to that sort of humiliation. Those wig cats must have been lobotomized - that’s all I’m saying…

i like cats more than dogs, but mostly because i dislike drool and cats are low maintenance. and i’m very lazy ~_~
there’s this lady at my work who’s obsessed w/ cats. and she enters them into competitions and stuff. there’s ribbons hanging in her cubicle and what not… and i remember the day i came into work w/ my kitten hat i had crocheted. she pounced on me asking me where i got it. it was scary. scary!!1

Christine - I’ll agree that dogs drool more, but cat drool is like super acidic and burns! Kind of like from the movie Aliens. Hah. Remind me never to visit your office for fear of Crazy Cat Lady!
