I’m a Cheer Leader

Sorry, no, I didn’t suddenly grow a set of pom poms. Trust me, if I did, I’d never leave my room and you’d never see me blogging again… But I did manage to win a very nifty Blog Award all about “cheering.” My bestest blog buddy (I guess that’d be my BBB?) Tish graciously awarded me the You Cheer Me Up Award. Apparently I put a smile on her face through my witty and extremely insightful blog posts. (Yeah, I’m sure the $200 worth of Beanie Babies I bribed her with had nothing to do with it.)

Well, first off, thanks very much for the award, T. Your posts never cease to brighten my day. Even on Mondays. I shall cherish this award always, particularly since it includes a picture from one of the few actually funny episodes of “I Love Lucy.”

Second, I’m supposed to now pass this sucker on to other bloggers who cheer me up. So I’m passing Lucy & Ethel and the whole cheering up thing on to the following folks: Christy, Jo, Lis, Taylor and BBM. You ladies all tell it like it is, while mixing in as many expletives and rants as you can. And for that, I thank you.

And now, with this being the first-ever blog award My Blog Rules has received, I figure I should celebrate with some cheerleader photos. So for all you guys (and girls, feel free to enjoy these as well), here’s to cheering!
